The Warwick Valley Quilters’ Guild is a non-profit membership organization that promotes quilting arts in Warwick, NY, and the surrounding areas.
We also support the study and education of fiber arts that involve quilting or other needle arts with our Phyllis Klein Scholarship Fund.
The Fund is supported by a portion of the profits raised from our Raffle Quilt.
The Fund is named for our founder, Phyllis M. Klein who passed away in 2009. She was an avid quilter, artist, writer and editor, and well known in the quilting world as an accomplished teacher.
In 1982, Phyllis, along with several charter members,
founded the Warwick Valley Quilters' Guild.
The WVQG offers the Phyllis M Klein Scholarship to a deserving high school student(s) who will be pursuing a career in fiber arts. Our winners are: Hannah Saunders (Minisink Valley)and Tristan Douglass (Warwick Valley)
